Fodor's Review:
The Refugio de Vida Silvestre de Boquerón (Boquerón Wildlife Refuge) encompasses three tracts of land at the island's southern tip. The first is about 1 mi (2 km) south of Boquerón. There is a trail that leads through three different types of mangroves to picnic areas and a dock where you can launch a canoe or kayak. Note: hunting is allowed in the reserve between November and January.
