Fodor's Review:

Founded in 1901 on a 235-acre farm on the outskirts of Mayagüez, the Estación Experimental de Agricultura Tropical (Tropical Agriculture Research Station) is run by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and contains a tropical plant collection that has been nurtured for more than a half century. More than 2,000 plant species from all over the tropical world are found here, including teak, mahogany, cinnamon, nutmeg, rubber, and numerous exotic flowers. Free maps are available for self-guided tours.
