Museo Cemí

Museums / Galleries, Jayuya

Fodor's Review:

This is definitely the weirdest building in Puerto Rico. The tiny Museo Cemí (Cemí Museum) is named for a Taíno artifact believed to have religious significance. This structure resembles the snail-like cemí, and you enter through its mouth. The collection, however, is pretty dull. On display are religious and ceremonial objects found on the island.
