Fodor's Review:
The shady terrace behind this little lodging sits on a mangrove-lined canal where owner Al Custer docks his motorboat. The guest rooms -- as simple as they come -- have louvered windows with the same view. The inn sits on the edge of Dewey, putting you within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Ginny Tawalski, who commandeers the front desk, used to run a dive shop, so she will let you know the best places to scuba or snorkel. She sends you off to the beach with a little cooler filled with ice.
