Fodor's Review:
Perched on a hilltop, this hotel has a sweeping view of the southern coast. In exchange for that view from your private balcony, however, you give up direct access to the beach. The pair of pools, one for the kids, is a bit of a consolation. Romantic music wafting from the lobby bar and the dance beat that pulsates from the disco lend considerable Latin flair to the hotel. Adding to the energy is the sound of slot machines that echoes through the lobby. The Tanama restaurant serves Spanish, Puerto Rican, and nouvelle cuisine; several seafood restaurants are also in the nearby Las Cucharas area.
