Military Sites, San Juan
Fodor's Review:
At the eastern tip of Puerta de Tierra, this tiny fort is perched on a hilltop like an afterthought. Added to San Juan's fortifications in the 18th century, it barely survived the British attack of 1797. Restored in 1983 by the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, it's now open to the public. To find it, go to the entrance of the Caribe Hilton.
