Casino Batelière Plaza Review
On the outskirts of Fort-de-France, the classy Casino Batelière Plaza is built in a striking nouveau-plantation-house style. It has both slot machines and table games. Slots open at 10 am, but table games don't start until after 8 pm. There's live entertainment on weekends from 8-midnight. It's open Sunday night, when most places are shut tight, except the buffet restaurant (€14), which is open only Tuesday-Saturday. You may see billboards that say: CASINO or even GEANTE CASINO, with directionals. Do not follow them if you are looking for a gambling casino. CASINO is the name of a supermarket chain. GEANTE means a megasupermarket.
