La Villa Créole is a restaurant whose French owner, Guy Bruere-Dawson, has been singing and strumming the guitar since the mid-1980s—everything from François Cabrel to Elton John, some Italian ballads, and original ditties. Other singers perform on Friday and Saturday nights. In order to see the show, you must order dinner, lobster is traditionally the best option. However, of late they have contemporized and upscaled their menu, and are attracting clients of the former Belle Epoque. There's also a small dance floor and a few tables outside the open-air restaurant. If patrons aren't using them for dinner, you can just drink and more or less hear the music.
