Fodor's Review

Although "le zandoli" is the Creole term for the lowly gecko, there's nothing humble about the culinary presentation or the wildly colorful dining room here, which are as slick as anything you might encounter in Paris. The executive chef has worked in Michelin three-star restaurants in France, and the owning couple has artistic taste that is off the charts. At the start of the meal, two amuse-bouches arrive, one in a tall shooter glass, another on a white, contemporary

spoon. The three-course, prix-fixe menu is continually evolving and influenced by five continents—one favorite main is the filet of beef with girolles (chanterelle mushrooms). One can opt for just two courses for €33.You may want to arrive for your dinner reservation early, so that you can sit at the bar, which looks like an avant-garde movie set, and have a fanciful, fresh juice cocktail with tiny accoutrements.
