Hotel Plein Soleil Review

Long one of our favorites, this heavenly hideaway has been featured so frequently in French, international, and American media that it has become a celebrity hotel. Accommodations are in Creole cases (cottages)—painted red, purple, and subtle earth tones—with contemporary bathrooms and terraces that maximize the glorious sea view. Each has a flat-screen cable TV, and the decor throughout is enlivened with the latest designer offerings from Bangkok objets d'art. Scattered throughout the lush grounds are seven bi-level bungalows with private plunge pools; massages and other spa services are available. Rates include breakfast—an expanded, deluxe breakfast. With a fishpond at its entrance, the terrace restaurant boasts a deck with monumental bay views.
