Hotel Plein Soleil Review
Long one of our favorites, this heavenly hideaway is now a Martinique landmark. Accommodations are in Creole cases (cottages)—painted red, purple, and subtle earth tones—with moderne bathrooms and terraces that maximize the glorious sea view. The decor throughout is enlivened with the designer offerings from Bangkok and objets d'art. Scattered among the lush grounds are five cases with multiple accommodations, some bi-level and some with private plunge pools; massages and other spa services are available. With a fishpond at its entrance, the terrace restaurant also boasts a deck with monumental bay views.
