Calebasse Café pleases a diverse—though mostly older—crowd. Jazz is the norm, and there's often a talented local singer. Funky and hip, the interior is a bit rough, but civilized. On Saturday night, if you don't make a reservation you will not have a seat. The food here isn't wonderful, but if you have the conch tart and the grilled lobster, you'll leave satisfied and avoid the cover charge. There's sometimes a beach party. The place is closed Monday.
