Pierre & Vacances

Fodor's Review:

This family-oriented lodging is a happening place, with good music and tropical flowers in the pillared lobby. Energetic (but not annoying) staffers make the sports really enjoyable, whether it's aqua gym or scuba diving. If you overexert yourself, recuperate with a reflexology massage with essential oils. The amphitheater is the setting for many serious parties and concerts. The apartments, which are soundproof and have kitchenettes, are attractive but not luxurious. The best are those on the higher floors, and they are worth the climb for the knockout views. A small but diverse commissary supplies most simple cooking needs. Pros: strong fun quotient; substantial roster of activities; many staffers speak English. Cons: densely populated; rooms simple and not chic; lots of kids.
