Yucca Bar, with a Mexican motif, is known for showcasing innovative bands, usually on Wednesday. Take a taxi, go with local friends, or get good directions, because the area is deserted at night. The club is especially popular on the weekend. If you go early for the Tex-Mex buffet, you can avoid the cover charge.
