Internet service is becoming more common, and most hotels offer at least limited service ranging from public terminals (often free at the all-inclusive resorts) to Wi-Fi. Postcards may be mailed anywhere in the world for J$50. Letters cost J$60 to the United States and Canada, J$70 to Europe, J$90 to Australia and New Zealand. Due to costly and slow air-shipping service, most travelers carry packages home, even large wood carvings.
