Faith's Pen Review

If you want to combine a cultural experience with lunch, stop by Faith's Pen. Rows of stalls with names like Johnny Cool No. 1 and Shut's Night and Day offer local specialties with home-cooked taste. For just a few dollars, buy a lunch of jerk chicken, curried goat, or roasted fish and enjoy it at one of the nearby picnic table. An unusual treat is the mannish water (a soup—and reported aphrodisiac—made from a goat's head, among other ingredients). Faith's Pen is on Route A1, 12 mi (19½ km) south of Ocho Rios.
