Fodor's Review

The seven acres of Emancipation Park's lush greenery is a popular place for respite from the New Kingston concrete jungle. Locals come here to jog, play table tennis, see concerts, take wedding photos, and relax. There are also clowns to entertain the children and photographers to take romantic pictures of couples by the fountain. The south entrance is graced by Redemption Song, a pair of monumental statues of slaves that serve as a reminder of the island's colonial past.
