This beautiful, somewhat secluded beach is petite perfection. Protected by two outcroppings that form the cove, the inlet's calm waters are a favorite with families. A small stream trickles into the cove. You'll find a bar and restaurant serving fried chicken right on the beach. If this stretch of sand looks a little familiar, it just might be because you've seen it in the movies; it has starred in Club Paradise, Treasure Island (the Charlton Heston version), and The Mighty Quinn. If you are not a guest of Frenchman's Cove, admission is $4.50 ($2.50 for children).
