Evita's Italian Restaurant Review

Evita's commands a wonderful view of Ocho Rios and the sea from its outdoor verandah dining area. Just about every celebrity who has visited Ocho Rios has dined at this hilltop restaurant, and Evita has the pictures to prove it. Guests feel like stars themselves, with attentive waitstaff helping to guide them through a list of about 30 kinds of pasta, ranging from lasagna Rastafari (vegetarian) and fiery jerk spaghetti to Ravioli Eccellenza (jumbo cheese ravioli tossed in baby-shrimp tomato-Alfredo sauce and laced with Sambuca). Kids under 12 eat for half price, and light eaters will appreciate half portions.

    Evita's was a great dining experience for someone who was dying to get of the resort on our last night in Ocho Rios. We went based on Fodor's recommendation which was right on the money. The view was amazing as we overlooked the city at night. The food was authentic, Italian dishes served with a smile. They even sent a driver to pick us up at our resort. I highly recommend this restaurant and maybe you'll get to meet Evita just as we did.
