Round Hill Hotel and Villas Review

A favorite of celebrities and other wealthy people thanks to its private and elegant villas, this peaceful resort 8 mi (13 km) west of Mo'Bay also offers 36 stylish hotel rooms in the Pineapple House. The hotel rooms are decorated in a refined Ralph Lauren style that's been done by the designer himself, who has property on the resort's 98 acres. Each villa includes a personal maid and a cook to make your breakfast, and most have private pools. It's a fairly quiet place, with a small beach and limited but good dining options. Many guests return again and again because of the personal service and excellent management.

    Round Hill Hotel and Villas Review

    Do not try their water sport "Tubing" because the 2 staff did not know how to steer the boat. It was the 7 of us and we were on their "Banana Boat", when we got there one staff member who was on the boat was a man named "Hercules". We went out in the far end of the Ocean and Hercules' other staff member kept making sharp left and right turns sending the Banana Boat almost tipping over. When he made a sharp left turn all three people fell off and where almost left behind because Hercules did not want to stop! Finally we stopped and the three tried to get back on the boat, (even though they had life vests it was hard for them to make it on the boat), so Hercules and his staff member backed the boat up and hit one of the person who fell off sending the person almost under the boat drowning. While that was going on Hercules and his staff member was laughing and smiling while he was sitting on the boat. A normal staff/ life guard would jump in and try to help a person but instead he said " you can float with your life vest you do not need help"! Do not try this water sport Hercules and his staff member needs to be FIRED! Gratefully we safely made it back to shore.

    An Unpretentious and Magical Resort

    Round Hill is magically beautiful. I don't know how else to describe such a wonderful place. The resort itself, rooms in the hote and the beach are all fantastic. The brand new infinity pool is elegant but welcoming to kids too.
    Service is friendly and competent. We were always asked if we wanted drinks and got them within a few minutes. And, several life guards remind us to put on more sunscreen.
    This is defnitely a family friendly place without sacrificing luxury-so it's perfect for families with small children. I even saw some teenagers having a great time.
