Hotel Mocking Bird Hill Review

With only 10 rooms, some overlooking the sea and all with views of lush hillsides, Mocking Bird Hill is much more like a cozy bed-and-breakfast than a hotel. Owners Barbara Walker and Shireen Aga run an environmentally sensitive operation, with bamboo instead of hardwood furniture, solar-heated water, solar-cooked meals made from local produce in the Mille Fleurs dining terrace, locally produced toiletries and stationery sets, and 7 naturally landscaped acres. Rooms are cooled by fans and the breeze rather than air conditioning. There's a free shuttle to Frenchman's Cove beach, about a five-minute drive away. Wedding packages are available, as is a meal plan offering breakfast and dinner for an additional $84 per night per person.
