This lush, 12-acre estate atop a hill overlooking San San Bay is best suited for travelers looking for a home-away-from-home atmosphere, not a bustling resort. Each attractively appointed villa comes with its own dramatic view, plus a staff member to do the grocery shopping, cleaning, and cooking for you. Villas come equipped with cable TV, ceiling fans (with air-conditioning in the bedrooms only), and tropical furnishings; it's sometimes possible to rent a single bedroom in one of the two-bedroom villas for a lower per-night cost. Excellent car-rental packages are available. Guests are given free passes to Frenchman's Cove beach, which is a 15-minute walk away.
