This massive but beautiful resort, which opened in early 2004, is far north of Negril on Bloody Bay and has a decent, sandy beachfront. Don't expect much personalized service, but you do get your money's worth here -- with good food and an extensive array of activities and facilities -- and the prices are a bargain to boot. Rooms are attractive and offer the usual amenities, as well as a liquor dispenser, but those in the second and third blocks are a very long walk from everything, with no resort shuttle to help your weary feet. The programs for kids are slightly better here than at the Riu Tropical Bay, which is equally large and next door.
