Fodor's Review

This eco-friendly boutique hotel is a delight for those who are environmentally conscious and socially aware, with luxury bound to please anyone. The vision of Shireen Aga and Barbara Walker, Mockingbird Hill has received recognition for its sustainable model of responsible tourism. From the bath soaps to the stationery, much the property's amenties are locally sourced. Solar panels and the natural cooling of rooms conserve energy. "Guiltless indulgence" is how the hotel describes itself, and it provides an immersive and authentic Jamaican experience. Mille Fleurs, a gourmet restaurant with local produce, is another draw, with a breakfast-and-dinner meal plan available. The Garden of Wellbeing, for massages and other services, has been added, and a yoga deck is planned.
