Bond, James Bond

Bond, James Bond

Jamaica was a seductive muse for author Ian Fleming, who penned every line of his 13 James Bond novels at his Oracabessa residence, Goldeneye. The beauty of the island played a starring role in more than one of Agent 007's on-screen adventures, so it's easy to retrace the footsteps of Sean Connery and Roger Moore.

Bikini-clad Ursula Andress sang "Under the Mango Tree" as she emerged from the cobalt-blue ocean at Laughing Waters Beach in Dr. No, 007's first foray in film. Known today as the original James Bond Beach, this Ocho Rios oasis is known for its golden sand. Link hands with fellow travelers as you climb nearby Dunn's River Falls, where the secret agent and Honey Ryder enjoyed a seductive swim.

The sound of Paul McCartney singing "Live and Let Die" in the opening credits will ring in your head much like the echo of footsteps that reverberate inside Green Grotto Caves, which served as a stalagmite-filled sanctuary for Bond's adversary Dr. Kananga in the 1973 film of the same name.

The spy showed his softer side in the same installment of the movie franchise with a picnic scene filmed on the grounds of The Ruins at the Falls restaurant.
