Restaurant La Savane

Restaurant La Savane Review

Even if there's a downpour, a table right on the crystalline Deshaies Bay is a dream fulfilled. Besides, La Savane's roof overhang (with gingerbread fretwork) will keep you dry, and the music and food does a lot to keep spirits high here. The dishes include such highlights as puff pastry enclosing leeks and Roquefort, duck in a lavender-and-vanilla sauce, and desserts like tarte tatin with a calvados-infused butter. Mmm.
