Fodor's Review

This small, convivial waterfront restaurant has a lot to recommend. It's artsy, with contemporary, original works, hanging plants, hip music, and a talented chef-owner, Philippe Dade. Fresh fish grilled, accompanied by chien and passion-fruit sauces—plus authentic pomme frites, makes an ideal lunch out on the beach terrace. Le choucroute de la mer has fish, scallops, and mussels in a white wine sauce. There are two well-priced, three-course, prix-fix menus; the €20 one has a choice of mains—either chicken in coconut sauce or a fricassee of octopus. For €40 you can have baked lobster plus a starter and a dessert. For dessert, one pouffed marvel—a mango soufflé with raspberry coulis—must be ordered in advance. (If having a prix fixe, there is a supplement.)
