The Round House restaurant is, in fact, in a small round structure built with a concrete-filled tree trunk as its central support and a long bench that was once the jawbone of a whale. It's surrounded by gardens and a handful of cottages for rent. Chef Roxanne Russell is celebrated for her elegant style of Caribbean cuisine. Her three-course, prix-fixe menu, which changes according to market availability, may include such starters as fish cakes and cream of callaloo soup and such entrées rack of lamb au jus and grilled lobster with garlic butter—there's always a vegetarian dish, too. Pasta and pizza are available for kids upon request. Desserts are all homemade, including the ice cream.
