As the name suggests, fresh seafood is the specialty here. Many guests spend the day at the adjacent beach (you can rent kayaks or snorkeling gear), then break for a cool drink or satisfying lunch—a salad, sandwich or burger, fresh fish, or pasta—served on the waterfront deck. Lush plants and palms surround the dining room, and a waterfall adds romance in the evening. The dinner menu always includes fresh fish, grilled lobster, and specialties such as callaloo cannelloni. On Sunday there's a beach barbecue. Also, the Aquarium is convenient to the airport and, if you plan carefully, perfect for a preflight meal.

My husband and I had lunch at Aquarium with some friends a couple of weeks ago and discovered that what used to be a nice restaurant has become a place of terrible and rude service that isn't worth your time or money.
We decided to give Aquarium one more shot since they are newly renovated and perhaps the staff was still adjusting during our previous experience. Unfortunately we found that the same problems of poor service were all too evident. It took an hour for us to receive our meals and later on after looking at the dessert menu it took the waitress 20 minutes to come back and take our order. In order to get our water glasses refilled the first time we had to ask 3 times, the second time we needed a refill my husband ended up having to go and get the water pitcher himself and bring it to the table after waiting 15 minutes and multiple requests. When we spoke with the "manager on duty" she apologized saying that they had been busy (but there were at least 3 people standing around at any given time during our dinner). She did not offer us any compensation and took another 10 minutes to bring us our bill. We were with a party of 8 for a birthday celebration and were treated like this; imagine how much less they care about your business if you only are in a party of 2.
