Playing "The Teeth of the Dog." The kings course of Casa de Campo continues to be ranked as one of the top golf courses in the Caribbean. Other great courses are at Guavaberry Resort and Metro Country Club.

An excursion to Altos de Chavón. This incredible re-creation of a 16th-century Italian hill town is filled with shops and restaurants.

Leisure time at Marina Chavón. Designed to look like the famed marina in Portofino, Casa de Campo's marina has been a yachting success and is a dining and shopping destination, too.

Diving La Caleta. Close to Juan Dolio, this underwater national park is considered one of the country's best sites.

Day trip to Isla Saona. Sail or speed out to this island to enjoy a day of sun and sea and snorkeling energized by a BBQ lunch buffet and rum libations. Playa Bayahibe is also a great beach if you want to stick closer to land.
