Fodor's Review

Le Reef is a small condominium complex with Euro-style and furnishings that reflect Cabarete's surfing craze (kite, wind, and otherwise). In "Wind Guru," you will wake to graphics of a hard body windsurfing and put your coffee mug on a hand-hewn coffee table in the shape of a surfboard. With ocean views and the school right outside your window, you'll feel like a student of the waves and wind. Cooks will love the well-equipped Euro-kitchen which may have coral-colored

cabinetry; everyone ends up splashing in the large oceanfront jacuzzi and petite pool. Gracious Swiss owners, Caroline and Alain Ponti, have three girls and are masters at accommodating families here and at their adjacent restaurant, Front Loop Café. All units are two-bedroom, two-bathroom, beachfront condos, with the exception of Coconut (one bedroom, no water view).
