Villa Catalina Review
This 3½-acre, beachfront estate is the best site in Sea Horse Ranch, having been designed by the famed architect Sara Garcia in 2006. The style might be best described as Tuscany meets Manhattan. The sprawling rose-colored stucco mansion looks like an Italian palazzo, while the contemporary interior is filled with quality artwork. An unexpected cartoon sculpture on the front lawn is just one of many whimsical art pieces here (others are an Adam and Eve on glass, a massive painting of a zebra pair, and a Sopranos pinball machine, all framed by neutral and white furnishings). There is more color in the five bedrooms, including a blue-and-white room with cobalt ocean views and yes, more art.
