Gran Ventana Beach Resort Review

This all-inclusive is filled with Americans who like its renovated, clean, colorful grounds and easy beach access. The lobby, with pottery and local drums suspended from the walls, is a contemporary study in Caribbean colors, with a fountain as a focal point. The beach is on a point with unobstructed views to the left. Families are a good share of the market, and this resort is solid as far as the tour operators are concerned, with service and food improving each season. Many couples prefer the larger rooms (sans good ocean views, unfortunately) that surround the active pool scene. A Victorian-style wedding gazebo is popular for nuptials.
