Miró Tapas y Paella Review

The menu here continues to reflect the interests of the owner, Lydia Wazana, who is prominent in the local art scene. From season to season, Lydia adds new ideas that she brings back from her travels (even from nearby Santo Domingo), such as the mofongo de platano maduro with queso frito. The zarzuela (seafood stew), lobster with bisque sauce, Thai curry shrimp, and seared sesame tuna are all favorites. Despite the fact that it's smack on the beach, grilled local and imported beef, as well as the churrasco burger, sell out rapidly. Sushi continues to be prepared with high-quality ingredients, and Lydia is very aware of celiac, gluten-free, vegetarian, and kosher needs. Lunch is now served on weekends. Take a table on the sand and listen to the gentle jazz. Miró sponsors sceney music events, too.

    Heaven on a Beach
    this is ART! merging in subtle seamless ELEGANCE with the SAND & PALM trees that only later you start to wonder… how! & then comes the CEVICHE! like a masterpiece perfectly arranged, it’s seems too beautiful to eat, but once you taste, you want to savor this forever! the FRESHNESS, the tender textures, the spices in a perfect (again!) harmonic composition!
    my suggestion, whenever you feel like you want to be spoilt, slip off your sandals, point your finger to one of these extravagantly beautiful meals & enjoy… heaven!
