A man's home is his castle. In this one, Doug Beers prepares creative dinners for guests who cross the foothills to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience. His wife, Marguerite, is the gracious hostess who shows patrons their expansive mountain home and the artwork strategically positioned between the many open-air arches. Served on antique lace tablecloths strewn with bougainvillea, the well-orchestrated dinner might consist of canapés, Caribbean carrot soup, salad from their organic garden, grouper with lobster sauce, and classic chocolate mousse. After dinner, Doug lights a fire and offers guests a liqueur to warm their interiors. You must make advance reservations.
