Fodor's Review

You will find a healthy dose of unexpected pleasure at this stellar, boutique condo-hotel. Coral-stone paths wind you around the exquisite tropical gardens of cacti and orchids at this serene hideaway just a gravel driveway from the dusty, noisy highway into town. The open reception area, backed by an artistic screen, is flanked by a quiet seating area that whispers tranquillity. The lush gardens hold a pair each of pools and Jacuzzis. There are five different choices for lodgings, all have different design and ages. Chose one with a water view; they are truly stunning, particularly from the penthouse. Owner Gerard Hebert is a charming French Canadian, an early surfer who arrived in 1984 and has a following. The exceptionally helpful receptionists speak Spanish, English, French, and German.
