Marianne's Gift Shop

Fodor's Review:

Marianne's Gift Shop is run by Marianne Messmer, a French woman with a good sense of design, who sells handmade larimar jewelry as well as crafts made from such natural materials as coconut, banana leaves, and natural seeds from the region. She spearheads a cooperative group of local women, showing them how they can be productive artisans. Her shop is open from 10 to 6 daily.
