Blue-and-white gingham tablecloths are just about the only decoration in the dining room, where you can see the Caribbean by day and hear its serenade by night. Glistening floor tiles are the color of larimar, and there's an open kitchen. Keep your order simple—perhaps lobster, fish, or fillet of beef on the grill, or a Dominican specialty like cream of pumpkin or fish soup, fillet of dorado in coconut sauce, or lambi vinaigrette—and you'll be fine. There's no wine by the glass—only bottles—but the bar does serve fresh juices and nicely garnished, tropical cocktails, including perfect piña coladas. Local music is played, and when it's not too loud, it's pleasant.
