Fodor's Review

Playa Casa Marina is named after the former name of Grand Paradise, an all-inclusive that's here now. Though a sign here says that it's private property, the beach is public and it's worth a visit. Boats leave the beach here (as they do from Playa Las Galeras) for all the nearby snorkeling spots and hidden beaches. Another reason to come here: boats leave from here three times a day to visit a small coral reef that's great for snorkeling called Aquario Natural. The quick

boat trip over is $10, which includes the use of snorkeling gear. While you're there, the guides will drop food to draw in all the nearby fish. To reach the beach, you have to circle around the hotel property, and it's unsigned. It's simplest to take a motoconcho over from Playa Las Galeras.
