Hotel Casa Cosón Review

This tiny hotel owned by a retired European couple may be your best bet if what you care about is proximity to quiet, seemingly endless Playa Cosón, which is considered Samaná's best beach. The two-story house has four bedrooms, all with balconies and ocean views. Behind the house, with just garden views, are two more expensive suites and three spacious, thatch-roofed bungalows that are better suited to families or groups. There's also a fun bar and two restaurants. There's a nice pool and a wide lawn set with tables under coconut trees leading to the sands. Prices include breakfast, taxes, and Wi-Fi, but credit cards are not accepted.

    Hotel Details

  • 6 rooms, 3 bungalows.
  • Rate includes breakfast.
  • No credit cards.
