It would be a fine thing if, immediately arriving at Las Galeras, you headed straight to the beach, and the many small fishing boats lined there. "Take me to the beaches," should be enough to get you a wonderful tour of the remote beaches here, the best on the peninsula. Playa Rincón is the farthest from Las Galeras, about a 15-minute ride. La Playita is another gem, about 5 minutes by boat.
