Fodor's Review

Ten steps from Playa Bonita, Acaya holds a beach-bum vibe with touches of surprisingly tasteful decor. Rooms are simple, with white-tile floors and queen beds. Bathrooms are spacious, with two sinks, and are painted a cheery cerulean. If you can, stay in the renovated rooms closer to the restaurant; doubles in the next building aren't quite as nice but more quiet and high ceilings, light colors, and wood shutters create a feeling of space. A full breakfast, included in the price, is made fresh each day, even if you sleep in until 3. You get beach chairs and cushions, too.
