Fodor's Review

The adventure starts with a short boat ride as you leave the beautiful shore of Bávaro in the background. The main program includes instruction, a show, and a 25-minute swim with snorkel gear in calm, protected waters with the adorable dolphins or sea lions. Children must be at least eight years old to swim, and no pregnant women are allowed. Snorkeling gear and a flotation vest are provided. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance through one’s resort's activity desk; free shuttles depart from the hotels. It's expensive but it is a vacation memory to be underwater and hear these gentle creatures sing and "talk," and when they surface they give wet kisses.

RE: Dolphin Island Park

I stayed in Grand Bahia few weeks ago and went to Dolphin Island with my wife and 2 sons ages 12 and 9, we had a great time. Thanks to the suggestion of someone we had met at the airport for a shuttle ride back to our resort. We found a great deal on the basic swim with the Dolphins package on a website ran by a nice and very kind guy called Querto. His prices were much cheaper than those at the hotel desk for the same thing and his service was just

great all around. Check it out in case https://excursionbook.com/punta-cana-excursions
