Café del Mar
Café del Mar Review
As the name suggests, seafood is the headliner at this sophisticated restaurant within a contemporary, bayfront structure. By day, have lunch outdoors while dipping in and out of the infinity pool. After dark, go inside, where rounded glass windows magnify the night lights. An amuse bouche will arrive, and for an appetizer, the ceviche couldn't be fresher. Speaking of fresh, the daily catch is the way to go. The chef does the Samana specialty—fish filet in a tomato-based coconut sauce, to perfection, serving it with grilled veggies and a smash of potatoes and spinach.
