Marina Sands Luxury Resort Review

Spacious condo accommodations are the norm (small is 800 square feet) in this hotel and residential complex overlooking the marina at Cap Cana, which was previously known as Fishing Lodge Cap Cana. The designer units here include smaller studios (junior suites), but the one-, two-, and three-bedrooms are the most popular. Overlooking the yachts in the marina, swim-out rooms, with a long strip of turquoise pool, are in demand. There are four pools, all dramatic with high-end furnishings. A boat shuttle ferries guests to a white-sand beach. A bistro, beach bar and grill, and fine-dining restaurant are on site, but more options would be welcome, as well as more shops. When night-lighted and decorated for a wedding or incentive party, the plazas are magical.
