Designed like a small town, with restaurants, shops, and nightlife concentrated near a central public square, this huge resort still has many positive attributes considering its moderate price range. The handsome lobby was beautified in late 2013 and dazzles with sculpture and its new bar. The lounge for the VIP Club makes a striking impression; aggressive travel club (time-share) sellers can aggravate guests, however. Upgrading to Privilege Junior Suites and amenities are decidedly worth the extra cost. Food-wise, the variety at the main buffet is still satisfying and à la carte favorites are the steak house, French, and seafood restaurants. All told, the resort is not brilliant, but fun-loving and easy-pleasing guests (particularly from Canada and the U.K.) enjoy their holiday.
