Fodor's Review:

Since its creation in 1970, this charismatic resort has never looked better, the food has never tasted so good, and yet some complaints about the service are still being voiced. Nonetheless, both the staff and the clientele are a cut above. Specialty restaurants have been redecorated and are looking chic. La Choza, the beach restaurant, has been upgraded and can now host weddings: the new lookout tower is where you might spot winter whales. La Yola, overlooking the marina, has a more elevated seafood menu. A Six Senses Spa, housed in the gorgeous beach-golf club, is a marvel of professionalism and innovation. Do rent a golf cart to zip along the shore paths.

Beware travelers

I wouldn't go back there if they paid me to. Although the room was fine, every other aspect of this hotel was just awful. Service is useless and I can't emphasize this point enough. The food is crap. The little ambiance there is, is ruined by the loud music playing everywhere. You can't even enjoy at the beach, since the sunbeds are uncomfortable. You've been warned...
