Fodor's Review:
Everyone from college students to cigar kings packs this eccentrically decorated culinary landmark. Check out the World War II-era motorbike and the vintage Vespa. Tourists take photos of the new bathrooms with their ornate mirrors and Romanesque plaster sinks. Chef-owner Paolo, a true paisano, makes this bungalow a personality palace. His mouthwatering creations are authentic and fresh. Try out the great antipasto selections, or commence with the Pasticcio salad, which might have smoked salmon, mozzarella, anchovies, capers, and baby arugula. Paolo couples fresh pastas with unexpected sauces, like gnocchi with puttanesca; the ravioli with spinach and ricotta is another fave. Finish with a shot of grappa and the marinated fresh strawberries with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream drizzled with balsamic vinegar.
