Fodor's Review

It's hard not to be charmed by this new boutique hotel, which is set on 22 acres along the Atlantic Ocean and overlooks the Rosalie River. The rooms are spacious and inviting. Add to that an onyx-lined saltwater pool, a well equipped gym, cooking classes, daily yoga, and nature hikes, and you have a true getaway. Oscar's Pool Bar and Zamaan Restaurant has a menu of healthy cuisine, and the resort's spa, Gló, has a unique "Treehouse Treatment"—a treatment performed on

a tree platform that hangs over the Rosalie River. The resort prides itself on its Green Globe Certification and the founding of Dominica's first sea turtle conservation program (turtle nesting is March–October).
