Getting to Dominica: There are no nonstops from the U.S., so you'll have to transfer in Antigua, Barbados, Martinique, San Juan, or St. Lucia. There is also a ferry (90 minutes) from Guadeloupe or St. Lucia. Canefield Airport (DCF), about 3 mi (5 km) north of Roseau, is served by only a few small Caribbean-based airlines. Melville Hall Airport (DOM), where most flights arrive, is 75 minutes from Roseau.
