On the Ground

Cab fare from Canefield Airport to Roseau is about $20. The 75-minute drive from Melville Hall Airport to Roseau takes you through the island's Central Forest Reserve and is a tour in itself; the trip costs about $60 by private taxi or $20 per person in a shared taxi. The ferry drops you right in Roseau. If you're staying out on the island, you'll need to rent a car, and you may need a four-wheel-drive to reach some small resorts.
